Tats Cru x Mitchell & Ness

We’ve collaborated with renowned Bronx graffiti writers, Tats Cru, to design custom NBA Hardwood Classics jerseys for a collection symbolizing the fusion of sports heritage and artistic expression, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop.

In excitement for the start of the 2023-24 NBA season, and Hip Hop History Month in November, the curated collection will honor eight major metropolitan cities that played a leading role in the development of Hip Hop music and culture: New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Detroit, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia.

The pieces feature unique graffiti designs of the city skylines and the four pillars of Hip Hop (MC’ing, DJ’ing, Graffiti Art and Breaking). Each style is utilised as a canvas for the raw and vibrant energy of TATS Cru's signature style, creating a wearable piece of art that captures the essence of both cultures.
