Launched with the NBA's expansion into Canada in 1995, the Grizzlies were home to Vancouver for just 6 seasons before relocating and being renamed the Memphis Grizzlies after the 2000-01 season. While their time in The V was short, the team quickly established themselves a contender in the NBA led by Mike Bibby, Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Michael Dickerson.
